1/12 scale assembly kit “Little Armory” that combines realism and movable figures. For the new product, we will commercialize the light machine gun “M249 type” familiar for movies and animation works. It is an item that will be a picture even if you give it to a movable figure with a moderate size and volume!
The M249 is a Belgian squad support firearm (SAW = Squad Automatic Weapon) adopted by the US Army in 1982. A firearm that can fire 5.56mm bullets, the same as the main rifle M16 and M4 rifles, and can share magazines if necessary. It is lighter than the conventional general-purpose machine gun M60 by more than 3 kg, and has a short overall length, so it does not require an ammunition assistant and can be operated by a single soldier. The firepower of the M249 is said to be equivalent to that of 12 M16 equipped riflemen, making it an extremely reliable presence for infantry squads. This kit reproduces the M249’s most standard setup with a long barrel, heat shield, resin handguard and stock. The feed cover and bipod can be opened and closed. Includes a plastic box magazine that stores 200 5.56mm belt link bullets.
